The MBF 2016 Conference offers a wide range of best paper awards. All awards will be announced during the Farewell drink at the end of the conference.

  • The best paper presented in one of the Banking sessions will receive an award of €1000. The award is sponsored by Unicredit. More details on the selection criteria for this award will be posted later.
  • The best paper presented at the special session “Commercial and Asset-based Finance” will receive an award of €1000. The award is sponsored by the Associazione Italiana per il Factoring (Assifact). More details on the selection criteria for this award will be posted later.
  • The best paper dealing with a Corporate Governance-related issue will receive an award of €1000. The award is sponsored by the Nedcommunity.
  • The best paper presented at the “Young Economists Session (YES)” will receive an award of €1000. The YES is opened only to paper authored and presented by PhD students (or co-authored with other PhD students). Students wishing to be included in the YES and considered for the award must submit a letter from their supervisor or the secretary of their department/faculty, confirming their status as full-time students. The € 1,000 award/honorarium is assigned, based on the Conference Scientific committee judgment, during the Conference.
  • The best paper presented at the special session “New challenges for the future of Italian and European banks: tackling unprecedented regulatory and market issues” session will receive an award of €1.000. This session is organized and sponsored by Rivista Bancaria – Minerva Bancaria: the €1,000 award/honorarium is assigned, based on the Journal Editorial Board judgment, during the Conference.
