Jordi GALÍ

Director of the Center for Research in International Economics (CREI) at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Research Professor at the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics,Spain.

After obtaining his doctorate from MIT, he held faculty positions at Columbia University and New York University before moving to Barcelona. He is currently associate editor of the American Economic Journal – Macroeconomics and International Journal of Central Banking. Professor Galí’s research interests are in Macroeconomic Theory and Monetary Economics. He has published articles in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, American Economic Review, American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, Review of Economics and Statistics, Economic Theory, Journal of Economic Theory and many others. Professor Galí has received numerous awards and recognition for his research.
